Meet Sugar! If ever a dog has earned its name, this girl certainly has! Sugar is a 4-year- old female mix breed, weighing roughly 30-lbs. She was found by a good Samaritan living on the streets. She was dragging her rear legs so it was assumed she was partially-paralyzed. They took her in and brought her to a vet where we learned these were not recent injuries ☹ The vet provided medical treatment that has had some successful results. Sugar can put a bit of weight on her hind legs and has some limited mobility. The hope is she will continue to improve, but meanwhile she gets around great in her wheelchair and is a sweet, happy girl! Sugar gets along great with other dogs. She is spayed and up to date on all.
