Description/other
Meet Stanley.diagnosed with megaesophagus shortly after adoption. With love and proper treatment he had done wonderfully for the past year. Unfortunately, last week he became sick with aspiration pneumonia. He almost died L But Stanley is not only a lover; he’s also a fighter. He spent 4 nights in an oxygen chamber and had to have a feeding tube inserted so he could get nutrition. Also, with the megaesophagus, it is the best way for him to eat. Sadly, due to the feeding tube, he cannot go back to the only home he’s ever known as his adopter can no longer care for him. He is in need of a new home with someone very special; someone that can help him with his feedings. He needs to be fed 3 times a day via the tube, 30+mins each feeding. He also needs someone who can withstand all of his love and cuteness …….and give him that love right back. Stanley is a little guy; he only weighs 5.6 lbs and most of that is heart!! Stanley clearly needs a special home. We are hoping there is that special person out there willing to give him the love and care he needs and deserves.
