This sweet face belongs to Snapple. He is a 10 yr old Golden Retriever mix. He was surrendered to the shelter because his guardian could no longer care for him. He is neutered, UTD on shots and in desperate need of proper nutrition and exercise. As you can see, he is more than a bit overweight. Weighing in at 148lbs, Snapple needs a home with someone who will help him get down to a healthy weight and a fenced yard so he can do some running around. Snapple is vision impaired but seems to get around pretty well. He needs to be adopted on Long Island and also the only dog.
